Salsa is a once a year canning project done in August or September. We grow our tomatoes, but also buy a huge box of tomatoes from Schoolhouse farm, right down the road. If you have a chance, visit Schoolhouse Farm on Route 1 for a fabulous assortment of farm grown vegetables.
We grow our own garlic and peppers, both Bell peppers and jalapenos.
